What is peeling treatment?
Peeling is a process that aims to remove the layer of dead cells from the epidermis (the outer layer of the skin) and encourage the skin to produce new, healthier cells.
The treatment is performed using gentle acids, enzymes, or active ingredients that perform controlled exfoliation of the skin, thereby improving its texture, tone, and vitality.
How does it work? (Treatment stages)
The peeling treatment is performed in structured stages, designed to prepare the skin, gently remove dead cells, nourish and soothe. Each stage is tailored to the skin type and the goals defined in the treatment.
Diagnosis and personalization
The therapist performs a professional skin diagnosis, checking sensitivity, dryness, pigmentation, and more, and then selects the appropriate type of peel and ingredients.
Cleansing and preparation of the skin
Thorough cleansing of the skin removes dirt, oil, and makeup residue, preparing the face for optimal absorption of active ingredients.
Application of active ingredient (peeling)
Apply an exfoliating product, such as a mild acid, enzyme, or a combination of ingredients, that gently removes dead skin cells and encourages healthy skin cell renewal.
Soothing and restorative mask
A therapeutic mask soothes the skin after the active phase, providing moisture, anti-inflammatory and restorative ingredients to reduce redness.
Brightening or firming mask
Depending on the goal, we apply an additional product that brightens, firms, or deeply nourishes the skin and enhances the results of the treatment.
Moisturizer and sunscreen
At the end of the treatment, a nourishing cream with high protection is applied to maintain the results and protect against environmental damage.
